VALENTINA

PARIS, FRANCE

We need to be able to stand on chairs, run through gardens,

compete against giant statues and everything else that comes to our mind.

Jardin des Tuileries. Blooming in pinks, purples and yellows in spring and summer, crimson leafed in autumn and serene in winter, it always represents the perfect oasis of calm in the middle of the busy life in the city of light. Home to multiple shows during fashion week, this garden is frequently visited by both tourists and true Parisians.

You will usually see me wearing at least a hint of colour, but on my latest visit to the earliest royal garden of the Parisian Renaissance, I decided to let the location shine by itself and went for a monochromatic colour palette instead.

What I like to call my ‘mosaic’ jacket provided a touch of contrast against the overwhelming landscape, while becoming besties with my marble clutch. The look was complete with a black collar underneath the dress, sheltered by an antique golden broche, which acted as the central piece.

Chic but comfortable (we need to be able to stand on chairs, run through gardens, compete against giant statues and everything else that comes to our mind), I inescapably became one more member of the devoted fan club of the Jardin des Tuileries.

Wearing:

Dress: Comptoir des Cottoniers

Shirt: Zara

Jacket: Sandro

Clutch: Uterqüe

Sneakers: Maje

Brooche: Vintage store

Sunglasses: Dolce & Gabbana

Earrings: Chanel

Quina imatge és millor… Per escollir-ne una em quedo amb la quarta, on recolzada en el passat i coronada pel progrés somrius al futur amb seguretat, determinació i il·lusió.
    Petonets!
