It seems like every time summer comes around, white becomes my almost daily uniform. There is just something about it that suits my complexion and makes me feel powerful and oh so feminine. Granted, all-black outfits are known to be the fail-proof alternative to any situation, but in my opinion, all-white outfits are the absolute winners during summertime.
So, given the fact that summer is almost over and despite my absolute refusal to give up white ensembles after the infamous Labor Day, I wanted to share with you two of my latest all-white summer outfits.
While wearing all-white for a paella and rosé wine dinner date might not have been my brightest idea of the year, I still had to wear this set with intricate embroided details, which I pumped up with a simple knot on the top. It just seemed appropriate to pair it with my Dolce & Gabbana platform heels and a braided hair up-do which I had lots of fun trying out for the first time (an hour long worth of fun, to be exact…).
Another of my all-white ensembles this summer was this crop top and skort combo, which is just a classic to resist the unbearably torrid afternoon stroll around town, being just about as short as you can go without crossing the line of appropriateness (although my grandmother’s line is far beyond crossed). The shoes were an easy choice: doubtlessly my most worn sandals this summer, these blush pink ones somehow look perfect with everything I have tried them with.
Despite my slight grief for the end of summer vacation and with it, skin-showing outfits like this, I am looking forward starting my transition into fall, which I will inform you some more about. Be sure though that I won’t be leaving colourful and white pieces behind!
